I was born in 1987 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Pas-de-Calais, in the north of France.
I was raised here, I studied here and I am currently living here.

I have been interested in foreign languages and cultures since secondary school, and I decided to study English linguistics, literature and civilisations after the Baccalauréat. I passed this degree at l'Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale. The linguistics and translation lessons were the most interesting aspect for me, this made me choose to major the third year in "traductology".

After this degree, I passed the Master's degree "Languages and Technologies" at the same university, where I could improve my translation skills (English, Spanish and Dutch into French) in specialised areas and it also gave me the opportunity to develop my software knowledge (CAT-tool, DTP...).

In the framework of the Master's degree, I did an internship at Eden 62 (environment organism) and another one at Cogen SA (translation agency in Belgium).

Cogen then hired me and I worked there for three years, until I decided to become a freelance translator (summer 2013).
